    abstract

The above relation is expressed in a general formula, in which the time has been eliminated, and which can be solved in every case with integrating machines. It is given in three shapes, the simple form, the potential form and the logarithmic form. As an example of application, Keppler’s law is derived from Newton's, and it is shown that, conversely, Newton's law can be derived from Keppler's, if an assumption is made about the direction of the force.
