    abstract

The method presented is tailored for boosted phases of flight. It is guaranteed against divergence and demands a uniform computational load both per measurement sample interval and per output sample interval, which is small compared to the load of Kalman or least square fit methods that are equivalent in accuracy. In addition, the method facilitates analysis of sensitivity to poorly known model parameters and preliminary computer load requirements. However, it only applies when three position and three velocity components are measured.
