Investigating a follow-up of current European manned space programs, a concept for a second-generation European Space Station for 2030 was generated. Its main features are a completely autonomous European Scenario and an emphasize on subsystem synergism. This paper presents the main parts of the study logic and a general overview of the Space Station design.
