20 years of Soviet-French cooperation: Technical translation and interpretation: Elements for language policy

Bilingual relations in technical and scientific French "Soviet projects that have been conducted by the CNKS for 20 years. Presentation of the translation service experience that was gained during this period. A concrete example is given illustrating the relationship between project phases and translation loads and requirements, the manpower needs and the organisation needed to solve problems of translation capacity. Propositions for a policy in multilateral projects are given (interconnection between written and oral translations, possibility of automatical translation, organisation chart).
