The Moon Village Association (MVA) is a non-profit international organization established in 2017, dedicated to promoting international cooperation in the exploration and utilization of the Moon. The association aims to foster collaboration among nations, organizations, and businesses to develop and sustainably exploit lunar resources, envisioning the creation of a "Moon Village." The MVA facilitates information sharing, technological and scientific collaboration, and the establishment of an international regulatory framework for lunar exploration and utilization. It engages experts from various disciplines, including scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and government representatives, to promote concrete projects related to lunar exploration. The concept of the "Moon Village" represents an inclusive and collaborative approach to harnessing the potential of the Moon, involving a diverse range of international stakeholders in different projects. In this interactive presentation Moon Village Italy will present some highlights of the activities that characterize the last 12 monts with an outlook to future activities. On that Its vibrant activities includes a presentation event in Bologna in May 2023, providing a platform for Moon Village Association (MVA) members and attendees to exchange ideas, projects, and collaborations related to lunar exploration. A notable initiative in July 2023 was the organization of the first MVA Italy Space Summer School, coinciding with International Moon Day. The hybrid Space Summer School, conducted in conjunction with IMD2023, played a pivotal role in offering educational opportunities to aspiring space professionals Moon Village Italy actively participated in FlyFuture 2024 in Rome in February 2024, occupying a dedicated booth. During this event, Moon Village presented the research titled "Destination Moon. Current and future missions of lunar robotic probes, in view of the international Artemis program." The research received acclaim by being honored with the "Space Future" award, recognizing its contribution to advancing space exploration. Looking ahead, Moon Village Italy is gearing up for an activity presentation event in Turin scheduled for April. Subsequently, the second edition of the Space Summer School is on the horizon, set to coincide with the International Moon Day 2024. These upcoming events underscore Moon Village Italy's ongoing commitment to space exploration, emphasizing a comprehensive approach that includes promoting national activities, engaging in educational initiatives, and presenting innovative projects that have earned recognition within the space community. Moon Village Italy remains dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of lunar exploration and space education.
