    abstract

The New Space Age demands powerful, sustainable propulsion systems, fuels, and mining processes that benefit the environment and their associated economies. The generation of innovative technologies for sustainable space travel, will serve both science and exploration effectively. These types of innovative technologies, can involve new Fusion Engines, based on and either Hydrogen and Helium fuels. Given enough investment, these fuels are sustainable for both the societies, economies and the environment where they are accessed. The New Space Age is and will demand more powerful, sustainable propulsion systems, which can reach further into the Solar System, Galaxy and beyond. Space-based Fusion Engines can achieve the goals of both sustainability at all levels, power ratios and capabilities, which meet the demands of the New Space Age (CAPSA Group, 2025).
