In Peru, knowledge about the space sector is still limited. In many regions, young people grow up without access to space science and technology, because regular basic education does not incorporate related content. This absence represents a barrier that negatively impacts the mentality of future generations, who, not seeing educational training and job opportunities in the space sector, are forced to limit their dreams, waste their potential and, finally, opt for careers outside the sector. Faced with this challenge, the STEAM area of the Chasqui II project; an initiative that aims to develop a 3U CubeSat, carries out scientific dissemination activities in an accessible, dynamic and enjoyable way, igniting the spark of scientific curiosity in hundreds of young people and paving the way for the future of aerospace education in the country. This study analyzes the impact of Chasqui II as a catalyst for STEAM vocations and its role in the historical insertion of the Aerospace Engineering career in Peru. Various pedagogical dissemination strategies are presented, such as talks in educational institutions and communities to promote interest in satellite technology based on the development of CubeSats. In addition, the strategic use of the media has been used to expand the scope of the project and position the aerospace issue on the public agenda, transcending national and international borders. To evaluate the impact generated, surveys, interviews and knowledge tests were applied to the participants, allowing the level of understanding acquired and the interest aroused in spatial issues to be measured. The results show that initiatives such as Chasqui II not only strengthen scientific dissemination, but also contribute to the development of the Peruvian aerospace ecosystem. The continuity of these projects is key to consolidating a STEAM educational base, increasing participation in emerging technological disciplines and positioning Peru as a relevant player in the training of aerospace talent in Latin America.
